Upper Mustang Trek
Upper Mustang is the place, which is another nation within in the nation by its historical fact, cultural eccentricity and by environmental point. DAY 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
First day, upon you arrive in Kathmandu; our team will greet you/your team in Tribhuban International Airport and assist you to the hotel as per Itinerary. If the flight is earlier of the day; after settling of our baggage in the Hotel we will make a short visit nearby the hotel periphery or make shopping for the necessary accessories for the trip. Rest overnight in Kathmandu.
DAY 2: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (820m)
Early in the morning, after having the breakfast, we will head our journey by bus to the beautiful city Pokhara. On the way we will relish on the massive mountains, twirling roads. After the 5-6 hours of driving; first the way leaving the valley and afterwards, descending the road through the bank of Trishuli River for 3 hours.
DAY 3: Fly to Jomsom and Trek to Kagbeni (2,800m)
Early in the morning we will explore some few areas in the Pokhara and will be prepared to take a short domestic flight to Jomsom. Depending upon the weather condition, it may be at the first hour of starting day or somehow to the afternoon; after clearance upon the sky. After getting over in the Jomsom, we will trek to the Kagbeni; a beautiful village. After exploring the area we will take our rest of the night in Kagbeni.
DAY 4: Kagbeni to Chele (3,050m)
We will start our journey early in the morning after our morning breakfast. We will make our trail through the incessant forcefully blowing wind; passing the Kali Gandaki River gorge and catch to the Tangbe Village. This village bears the apple orchard, very sweet flavored apple they harbor. After crossing this beautiful village, along with the barley fields and beatific landscape, catch another village and trek about an hour to get Chele. Rest overnight in Chele.
DAY 5: Chele to Syanboche (3,475m)
This day, is an exciting and rejoiced day of the trek, although it is somehow difficult as to say. On the way, we have to cross two passes; Taklam La Pass (3, 624m) and Dajori La Pass (3,735m). We find on the way, Tilicho; a beautiful lake resided on the milieu, what will have scrutinized and harmonized over it. Ramchung cave, Damodar Danda are the points which we meet on the way forwarding our trail to Syanboche on the last hours of the trek. Catching the descending way get to the Syanboche and rest overnight in Syanboche.
DAY 6: Syanbochen to Ghami( 3,515m)
We pass two passes in this trek day, too, Yamda La Pass (3,735m) and Nyi Pass (4,010m). Ghami is another beautiful and idyllic village, warm and best greeting for the visitors to the place are their rituals and again barley fields, boulders are supposed, too. Rest overnight in Ghami.
DAY 7: Ghami to Tsarang (3,620m)
Todays’ trail first descends to the Ghami River and starts to ascend. Today, again we pass the Tsarang La Pass (3,870m) and catch the Tsrang Village.
DAY 8: Tsarang to Lo-Mangthang (3,730m)
We will cross to Lo La pass 3950m high altitude, from the pass we get the overlooked vista over beautiful Lo-Manthang village. Upon reaching the Lo-Manthang we explore and enjoy over the beautiful scene and beautifully organized rustic homes. This place offers the visitors to forthright vista upon the different Himalayas e.g. Nilgiri, Annapurna I, Bhrikuti Peak. Rest overnight in Lo-Manthang.
DAY 9: Lo Manthang/Acclimatization day
We explore all the area in the Lo-Manthang, mainly the beautifully resided and peaceful Gumbas. We trek to Tinkar Village at the day time and again come back to Lo-Manthang for overnight.
DAY 10: L0-Manthang to Drakmar (3,800m)
We will trek through the Gyakar village trail among the different trail. This trail is meets to the holy wishing place along the way i.e. the Ghar Gumba and believed that if prayed from the innocent heart, all the positive wishes been fulfilled. Continuing the trail we will get the Drakmar and rest overnight here.
DAY 11: Drakmar to Ghiling (3,805m)
This day our destination is to Ghiling, and to reach upon the Ghiling should walk almost descending way and suggested to walk slow in the descending trail. We should leave the rest place early in the morning otherwise strong blowing wind make more disturbances over our today’s trip. Rest in overnighgt.
DAY 12: Ghiling to Chhuksang (3,050m)
The trek trail from the Ghilling to Chhuksang is the same trail before travelled up to the Lo-Manthang . Within 4-5 hours of walking almost descending way, we get to the Chhuksung and rest overnight here.
DAY 13: Chhuksang to Jomsom (2,700m)
Returning to Chhuksang to Jomsom, we relish over the glistening Himalayas and lust forests. Rest overnight inn Jomsom.
DAY 14: Fly to Pokhara
From Jomsom, today, we take short flight to Pokhara at the first flight. After getting off to the Pokhara, we explore the beautiful areas in Pokhara as possible places as many. Evening walk to the Fewa Lake will be indelible moment.
DAY 15: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu
We catch the bus after our morning breakfast and ready to get return to Kathmandu. We will have our lunch near to the Damauli. About 6 hours of driving, enjoying with the greenery landscapes, trail through the bank of Trishuli River, we ascend at last hours to the Kathmandu.
Day 16: City tour and Dinner at Nepali restaurant.
Today, upon our successful trek, we will make our trip to the Kathmandu Valley and will visit to its major points. At the evening, we will have our dinner at the typical Nepali restaurant, and at the time we share our greetings with each other.
DAY 17: Farewell and Departure
It is the final day of the trek, we will have farewell program and assist guest to the Tribhuban International Airport.
