Langtang Valley, Lauribina Pass

Overview

This trekking trail is to the west northern side of Kathmandu Valley and probably the nearest and fabulous trekking trail. Langtang region is under the periphery of Langtang Himal, and highest among them is Langtang Lirung of 7,246 high. This Langtang Himalayan range comprise series Himalayas as Langtang II (6,580m), Kimsung (6,780m) and Yansa Tsenji (6,575m). This trekking route is very much favoured trekking route among the visitors because of its scenic beauty and naturally beautiful landscapes with blossomed different species of rhododendron and different flowers. Langtang National park covers all the natural treasury of that milieu. It is best trekking route for whom they are seeking to have exult on nature within short period of time.

Detail Itinerary

DAY 1: Arrival to Kathmandu

 

At the very first day, when you get off at Tribhuban International Airport, our office team will be there to take you/your team and assist you to get into Hotel. You can get out from the Hotel for the short visit to the periphery nearby it or you can do some shopping for the accessories that is essential for the trekking.

 

DAY 2: Kathmandu to Shyaprubesi (1,400m)

Day after the arriving in Kathmandu, we start our trip after morning breakfast, towards northern west of the Kathmandu Valley, by bus; will have launch at Trishuli Bazar after 3 hours of driving. After launch at Trishuli, road ascends to the Dhunche, big hills on the way to see. Here after Dhunche, way descends to Shyaprubesi. Rest in Shyaprubesi.

 

DAY 3: Shyapurbesi to Lama Hotel (2,470m)

Trek Stats from the Shyaprubesi and we destine our day to Lama Hotel. We pass by the river side flowing down from the melting glacier of Langtang Himal. Trail continue with dense forest, small suspension bridges over the gorge, up and down trail, silent and peaceful environment. We take our day’s destination at Lama Hotel; after the 7-8 hours of trekking.

 

DAY 4: Lama Hotel to Langtang Valley (3,430m)
Langtang Valley used to be a beautiful dale of mesmerizing stone paved village. But these days devastating earthquake has destroyed the village and now the place is in under re-construction. However, natural scenic beauty, lust forests and glistening vista of Langtang Himal have been remained unchanged. We meet some teahouses are still to serve for the guests who have taken their foot in the lap of Langtang.

 

DAY 5: Langtang Valley to Kyanjing Gumba (3,870m)
After having breakfast early in the morning, we pass our way through Mundu. Kyanjing Gumba is the one of the famous Buddhist monastery. On way to the monastery, we enjoy the prayer flags, inscriptions carved in the smooth rock plates and amazing trail passing the hills. From the Kayanjing Gumba, vista over the glistening mountain is forthright to eye.

 

DAY 6: Kyanjing Gumba to Kyanjing Ri (4,773m)
We still ascend from Kyanjing Gumba to Kyanjing Ri, on the way you may feel problem caught by High altitude. We try to catch the sunrise from Kyanjin Ri, early in the morning. From the Kyanjing Ri, we explore the surrounding and take a lots of fun with cold breeze. At the noon we make descend our destiny to Kyanjing Gumba to night rest.

 

DAY 7: Kyangjing Gumba to Lama Hotel (2,470m)
From Kyanjing Gumba, we return same to Lama Hotel that we had passed the trail before. Descending the way will be somehow easy and seem to pass the way quickly than ascend. At evening we will catch the Lama Hotel and rest overnight.

 

DAY 8: Lama Hotel to Thulo Shyapru (2,250m)
We descend first to the river from the Lama Hotel to the trail to the Langtang river and after crossing it we ascend to the Thulo Shyabru. Throughout the trail, glimpse over the mesmerizing golden Langtang Himal will not pass out.

 

DAY 9: Thalo Shyapru to Shin Gumba (3,330m)

ng through dense oak and rhododendron forest, enjoying with the twitting of small birds, we reach to the Shin Gumba and enjoy the place, taste the local cheese.

 

DAY 10: Shin Gumba to Gosainkunda (4,460m)
Gosainkunda is one of the holy lake harboured in the Lap of Ganesh Himal. Ascending the trail we pass the Lauribina Yak, and may cause nostalgia with the fragrant of flora of the high kharka. Many lakes are resided along with the Gosainkunda in the Himalayan lap and would be wondered the story and myth connected with this area and pond. Rest over night in Gosainkunda.

 

DAY 11: Gosainkunda to Shin Gumba (3,330m)

On this day, we just return from the Gosainkunda to Shin Gumba, we had just travelled the trail just day before. At nearer to the Shin Gumba we meet the cheese factory where organic Yak cheese yielded. Slight ascending trail at the final trail get to the Shin Gumba. Rest overnight.

 

Day 12: Shin Gumba to Dhunche (1,960m)

We walk through the steep descending trail and reach to Deurali, and Yunglang after following the trail. We start our footstep take up from the Yunglang till we get to the Dhunche. Rest Overnight in Dhunche.

 

Day 13: Dhunche to Kathmandu

There is not much make to hurry to get into Kathmandu, so having our best time at the morning, we catch the bus to Kathmandu, first drive through the jig jag graveled way and descend to Trishuli Bazar. After having our lunch at Battar, on the bank of Trishuli River, we follow the road through the Trishuli River and leave this gorge from Galchhi and finally ascend our road to the Kathmandu Valley.

 

DAY 14: City tour+ Dinner in Nepali Restaurant

At the end of the trek, we will have Kathmandu city tour. We will visit different cultured, religious and historical places with in the valley. Visitors may buy some gift items or memorable things with in Thamel or nearby place. At the evening; we will have Nepali Thali; special Nepali cultured food at typical Nepali restaurant and there you may share your greeting with your potters and guide.

 

DAY 15: Final Departure

At the final day of our trip, we will have farewell to you and we will assist you to get in Tribhuban International Airport.
