Detail Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu (1300m/4,265ft.) & transfer to Hotel

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport you will be greeted by Himalayan Mantra representative and transferred to hotel. This day there is no any tour activity unless requested. Depending on your arrival time in Kathmandu, you may spend rest of the day at leisure. A short briefing is held in the hotel lobby for your next day tour program. Overnight in hotel

Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing

After breakfast at the hotel you will proceed for sightseeing tour of Kathmandu city which is the capital city of Nepal and the largest metropolis of the country by area. You will visit the following places.

Kathmandu Durbar Square: It is historic seat of royalty. The durbar square, with its old temples and places, epitomizes the religious and culture life of the people. We will visit here around 2 hours and after that we will back to hotel and enjoy evening dinner.

Pashupatinath Temple: Situated five kilometers east Kathmandu. The temple of Lord Shiva, Pashupatinath with two tied golden roof and easily see the temple and the activities preformed in the temple premises from the eastern bank of the Bagmati River. We will visit here  for 1 hour.

 Bouddhanath: This Stupa of Bouddhanath lies eight kilometers east of  central Kathmandu. This colossal and ancient Stupa is one of the biggest in the world. We will visit here for  1 hour.

Patan: In Patan you will visit ancient palaces, temples and shrines, noted for their exquisite carvings. The Patan Durbar square consists of three main Chowk, Sundari Chowk and Keshav Narayan Chowk..Other attraction is  Krishna Mandir which was built  in the seventeenth century, dedicated to  Lord Krishna

Day 03: Kathmandu & Bhaktapur Sightseeing

Morning breakfast will be followed by sightseeing tour of Kathmandu and Bhaktapur cities. Today you will visit the following places.

Swayambu Nath Temple: This is one of the world’s most glorious Buddhist Chaityas. It is said to be 2000 years old. Painted on the four sides of the spire bases are the all-seeing eyes of Lord Buddha. It is three kilometers away from Kathmandu city and is situated on a hillock. Here you will spend about 2 hours.

Bhaktapur: The major sightseeing places in Bhaktapur include: DURBAR SQUARE: The main square of the city contains innumerable temples and other architectural showpieces like the Lion Gate, the statue of King Bhupatindra Malla, the picture Gallery, the golden Gate, the 55 windows, the Batsala temple and the Bell of Barking dogs, etc. The statue of the king Bhupatendra Malla in the act of worship is placed on a column facing the palace. Of the many statues available in Nepal this is considered to be the most magnificent.

Day 04: Final Departure

A representative from Himalayan Mantra will take you to the airport approximately 3 hours before your scheduled flight time.
